About

Flaws of an Everlasting Memory is a Vietnamese feature film that intends to share the unique beauty of the Vietnamese language through musical, literary, and cultural connections with the community while strengthening awareness for people who face the struggles of mental health.

Our film production is hosting our first virtual gala Garden of Dreams and to extend our excitement of the event, we are hosting our virtual Bingo Fundraiser! Although the film production team had originally planned to host our fundraising events in Cupertino and the surrounding areas, we have moved our fundraising initiatives through an electronic platform to tailor to safety guidelines.

Even with COVID-19, our actors are continuing to practice their roles for the film diligently with improvisation exercises, script reads, and vocal training.

Your support is important to us because it means that we can prepare well for our film production with the different acting and musical training that our team undergoes and learn more about the effects of PTSD and the structure of the Vietnamese language.

$100 - (1) A sincere thank you on social media, (2) an invitation to a one-hour rehearsal section with the director and actors, and (3) your name under "Special Thanks" in the film credits.

Goal Setters

Getting to $100K is no easy task. Our fundraising bingo ends on April 1st, 2021, and we're going to need a lot of help to reach $100K. Your contribution will support hugely in our production and the more we raise, the better the quality of the film will be. Please see the breakdown below.

We will fundraise a total of $325,000 to bring this feature film to life. In addition to this, we will be applying for film grant opportunities and reach out to the community for donation opportunities.

Our budget covers the cost of:

Pre-Production & Wrap Labor (paying for the producers who helped prepare and research for this film and office supplies)
Shooting Labor (paying for crew members including the director of photography, sound recordist, 2nd assistant director, boom operator, still photographer, ...)

Why Support Us?

This is the first feature film that Anh Le will be directing, writing, and producing with wonderful support from her team. We are fortunate to have been accepted for the fiscal sponsorship opportunity through From the Heart Productions where their focus is in supporting independent filmmakers who create stories that make a good contribution to society. While receiving amazing discount opportunities through their organization for high-quality equipment and professional training in film financing and distribution, we will walk out with a feature film that will be beautifully recorded with the original score and soundtrack.

All supporters would receive credit under "Special Thanks" in the movie along with personal updates as we progress in our filmmaking journey. Plus, donations are tax-deductible through this platform. Every dollar will be maximized to enhance the potential that this film can share.
